I believe that liberation is good for all people, especially those who live under oppression. While women in the United States, Canada and Europe enjoy some of the greatest equality in the world, we still have a far way to go before all people are truly treated equally. A few examples of how women's liberation is positive are that you can vote, own property, keep your paycheck and determine for yourself who you are intimate with and whether or not you wish to have a child. Many women around the world do not have these rights because of oppressive, patriarchial social systems.
