Summary: Street performers of any type, talented or not, enrich our culture and should be rewarded for their gift to us.

Author's statement:
They pass the hat or just leave it on the ground waiting
for you to show thanks. In larger cities, tourist towns and
college towns everywhere, communities are often blessed with
areas in parks and shopping districts where performers of
almost any kind can be found offering their artistic gifts
for free to the public. Often it may be an amatuerish
performance, but none-the-less, these people do it in public
for us.
Their music floats through the air of the town square,
lifting the spirits of all who pass. Their poetry gives
pause for reflection, their dance or magic or whatever the
gift, enriches our lives and makes the world a more beautiful
place. Help beautify your world - tip street performers.
