Summary: Sugar contributes to a host of health problems. Limiting or cutting out sugar consumption can improve your health.

Author's statement:
Sugar, especially refined sugar, is hard on the body;
heavy sugar intake causes a quick rise in blood sugar
that is followed by a quick fall. Sugar has been shown
to cause dental cavities, obesity, high triglycerides,
and is especially harmful in the control of diabetes and
hypoglycemia. In addition, the consumption of foods high
in sugar may be replacing the eating of other, healthier
foods, such as fruits and vegetables.
