What type of packaging does GoodHumans use?

GoodHumans tries to be as environmentally responsible as possible in all facets of our business. We mostly use paperboard mailers which are made from 100% recycled material with a minimum of 95% post-consumer use content. For some smaller orders we are able to use envelopes made from 100% post-consumer content. We also sometimes use 100% recycled envelopes that contain 62% post-consumer content. Whenever possible, we use re-used envelopes & boxes that we have left over from items shipped to us or our friends. We also use precycled boxes, which are boxes that are once used or unused because of printing mistakes or overruns. To fill the void space in the packages that need it, we use brown kraft paper made from 100% post consumer use recycled content. We also use reused material for this purpose if we have any on hand. Finally, we include a packing slip with each order. This slip lets the customer know what is supposed to be in the package and can serve as a reference in case there is a problem. This packing slip is printed on 100% tree-free paper or 100% post-consumer use recycled paper or combination of the two.
