Kenwood's landmark "Old Blue Schoolhouse," circa 1890.
Owned and operated by the Jacobs family, Stone Creek continues a century-old tradition of family-run business. The colorful family heritage originated with patriarch Simon Levi, who established a general store in Temecula, California in 1873. Five generations followed in his footsteps, culminating in the purchase of Stone Creek Wines in 1988.
Stone Creek prides itself on producing everyday wines that offer award-winning quality, consistent style, and strong varietal character. "The challenge is to create wines that are inexpensive and accessible, yet complex enough to satisfy the most discerning tastes," says Winemaker Erin Green.
