I just put this guideline up for a vote. I think it is an
issue could have a possitive impact on our environment.

-Use a push-mower. This stems from the apparent need to blanket the earth with rye and blue grasses--even in areas where no similar plant exists for hundreds of miles--and obsessively cut
them closely to the ground. The air and noise polluting power
mower encourages this proliferation at the expense of other trees
and plants that seed naturally but are severed as soon as they
appear. Envision a world where every front yard doesn't have it's
requisite patch of green grass, and where it is present, it is
appreciated for its lushness not for its neatness. Where grass has uneven hieghts and is mowed with a
machine that is less easy to use and requires a little
sweat power.
