Summary: Hold parties in parks, historic buildings, or other venues where your use/rental fee will go to a good cause.
Author's statement:
Some parties are just too big to hold at your own home.
When you have to “rent” party space why not do so at a
location where your use fee is going toward some good?
Park use fees are often modest, and go toward maintaining
the park, fees required to use historic buildings often go
toward further conservation, while social service leagues
and other community groups will rent you their space for a
fee that will go towards enhancing their activities. Why
pay fees to a large hotel or other corporation when there are
alternatives?
