Summary: An airplane is an uncomfortable place for adults. A screaming
baby on the flight makes it much worse. It is the parents
responsibility to keep their baby from crying or to
leave their child at home.
Author's statement:
Babies very rarely *need* to go anywhere. The
baby has no-one to go see. The baby does not
care about going to a wedding or
on vacation. Likewise, the infant does not
care about going to see his grandparents
or other relatives.
For the most part, if the baby is flying
it is not for their benefit, it is for the
convenience of the adults. The infant
would be much happier and healthier
staying at home with a baby sitter.
If you are willing to sacrifice
your babies comfort and health in
order to make your life more convenient,
that is your choice. It
is not your choice, however, to sacrifice
the comfort and health of the other
passengers on this plane.
So, if you do bring your baby on the flight,
please realize that this is your responsibility
and yours alone to keep that baby from
annoying the other passengers on the
flight.
