0 points - I cut other drivers off before they even knows what’s going on, no need to wave. 10 points - If I’m in my car, I’m on my cell phone, so I don’t have a hand to wave with. 30 points - I have given courtesy waves, but don’t do it often.
75 points - I usually give a courtesy wave to other drivers who let me in. 100 points - I always give a courtesy wave to other drives who let me in.

Summary: It may seem insignificant, but a quick courtesy wave to a fellow driver who lets you cut in in traffic lets that person know that the gesture is appreciated.
