0 points - I encourage my dog to do his business in the water, it’s like his very own toilet. 20 points - I don’t encourage my dog to defecate in water sources, but don’t reprimand him if he does. 50 points - I have a hard time controlling where my dog does his business, but I reprimand him if he goes in local water sources.
75 points - I don’t allow my dog to defecate in water sources. 100 points - I never allow my dog to defecate in water sources, and if he did, I'd do my best to go after it and clean it up.

Summary: It’s tempting to let your dog poop in the local stream or reservoir, but animal feces can contaminate surface waters by adding unnatural levels of nitrogen and phosphates. It can also harbor viruses and bacteria that may harm waterfowl and other wildlife
