0 points - I throw things away if they get a little old. 5 points - I throw things away if they stop working. 10 points - I bought vacuum bags but I doubt I'll ever changed them, I may throw the vacuum cleaner away.
25 points - I make basic repairs when I can, but I throw things away when they brake. 50 points - I am not very handy, but I do my best to not throw broken repairable items away. 75 points - I repair all items that break, I try not to throw items away if they are repairable.
100 points - I have a workshop and I repair and maintain everthing in an attempt to reduce waste.

Summary: Being handy around the house helps prolong the life of older items and reincarnates broken ones. It reduces land-fill over crowding, saves invaluable natural resources and is intensely frugal.
